With this incredible generosity we will be able to continue to grow our expeditionary learning program, UrbanTrekkers.

For those who were not able to be with us on our exciting fifty-mile ride from Rowan University to Ocean City, NJ, we have to say that you missed something wonderful.  The day started out beautifully, sunny and breezy, and the bikers headed out early.  The lead three riders arrived in OC at 11:40am and the "leisure" pack arrived at 2:30pm.  Four water break stations were set up along the route, giving us a target stop and rest when needed.  While we pedaled for a reason greater than just exercise, we were able to learn so much about ourselves and each other in this grand excursion.  The miles allowed us to find or exceed our own limits as well as teach us the importance of supporting and getting to know one another.
