Urban BoatWorks Program Director
Kevin, who has written newspaper stories about Urban Promise dating back 30 years, joined the Urban Promise team in September of 2021. A friend of Urban BoatWorks since its inception in 2009, Kevin wrote stories and blogs at IntotheOutside on many of the earlier builds and adventures of UBW. Kevin, who enjoys woodworking and building, recently completed a 24-hour team kayak event and has raced in a kayak as far away as on the American River in Sacramento. He has coached youth basketball for years in Camden as well as taught sumer writing courses to 8th graders in the city.
