Kris Schnepf

UrbanTrekkers Program Coordinator

Kris first came to Camden short-term in 2013 to learn the Trekkers model and take it to UrbanPromise Honduras, where he served for three years starting up and running the UrbanTrekkers Honduras program. Kris originally left rural Vermont to earn a B.A. in Biology Education and Spanish at Asbury University. Kris has served and taught in Kentucky, Vermont, China and Honduras. Now back in Camden with his Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification and enthusiasm for biking, hiking, and the outdoors, Kris hopes to continue building up the UrbanTrekkers programming while leading youth on transformational journeys in and around New Jersey. Having a passion for youth ministry and education, his greatest hope is that young people develop a strong walk with Christ and grow into the young men and women God designed them to be.
