I Paddle Camden

This summer, UrbanPromise is partnering with the Cooper's Ferry Partnership, the Delaware RiverKeeper Network, and the New Jersey Tree Foundation to offer two exlusive paddling trips on the Cooper River (8:30 AM, July 21st, 2018) and Newton Creek (9:00 AM, June 23rd, 2018).

Through environmental education programming and on the water activities, UrbanPromise aims to provide community members with positive and meaningful experiences with local natural resources and spaces.  These initiatives are based in the belief that we care for and protect the things in our lives that are important to us, and through meaningful experiences in Camden's natural spaces, specifically on its waterways, their importance begins to take root in the communtiy's minds and hearts.  To this end, these paddles are for Camden City residents only. All paddlers must register at least 24 hours prior to launch in order to participate and all paddlers must be 16 years of age or older to participate unless accompanied by an adult.
